Assistant Account Executive / Account Executive, Digital Team


EvolveMKD is looking for a dynamic, energetic and proactive Account Executive to join our Digital Team. This position provides the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, creative environment with a collaborative team on a wide variety of businesses in the consumer lifestyle, beauty, aesthetics and healthcare categories. 

A successful candidate will have strong written and verbal communication, a creative and analytic mind.  Candidate should be a self-starter with excellent research, problem solving, organizational and client management skills.  The ability to multi-task and manage individual projects is a must. Additionally, Assistant Account Executive or Account Executive must be comfortable with providing direction and helping to prioritize tasks for junior team members. Passion, enthusiasm, collaboration and respect for others is required. 


  • Community Management and Social Listening
  • Actively monitor and engage with online communities; Compile and share trends with wider team and client contacts
  • Maintain clients’ social media channels, including the scheduling of brand content
  • Monitor brand chatter, sentiment, and competitor conversations
  • Identify and escalate community learnings including potential brand risk or opportunity

Content Creation and Advertising

  • Help ideate and execute on-going content strategy and social media campaigns across all client and agency social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube)
  • Develop social media content calendars including copywriting and asset selection
  • Assist with paid social media campaigns across all social media channels, where applicable

Influencer Activations

  • Source and cultivate relationships with influencers for organic and paid activations
  • Maintain up-to-date influencer contact information, media kits, and rate cards using in-house tools and manual searches
  • Monitor and track campaign metrics, and create recaps for influencer activations

Measurement and Reporting

  • Monitor and report on metrics for content, campaigns, and social media ad activations
  • Develop key insights for weekly, monthly, and quarterly client facing reports

Account and Team Management

  • Support team leads through management of day-to-day administrative and project-specific tasks, including oversight of agendas, recaps and client timelines
  • Manage interns and/or Account Coordinators, mentoring to ensure individual growth in knowledge and skillset


  • Minimum 1 year digital/social media experience; agency experience strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree; degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English, Marketing a plus but not required. Interest in beauty and/or healthcare is a plus
  • Strong written communication, creative concepting and presentation skills
  • Personal time management skills to balance workload and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality and attention to detail
  • Problem solving skills and a proactive attitude to help improve efficiency and deliver beyond expectations for agency and clients
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with social media scheduling, monitoring, and listening tools is strongly preferred (ex: Hootsuite, Sysomos, Falcon.io, Google Alerts, Meltwater, etc.)
  • Design skills and/or experience with Adobe Photoshop a plus but not required
